Harbin Air Transport

Harbin Taiping International Airport is located in Taiping Town which is 30 kilometers southwest of Harbin City. This airport has the most air routes heading for Russia in China.

Domestic flights in Harbin’s airport can reach major cities of all provinces, municipalities and districts excluding Tibet, Qinghai and Gansu. International and regional air routes mainly lead to major cities of Russia, East Asia, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, etc.

Airport bus

Four airport bus routes heading for Harbin City are as follows:

1. Airport Bus Line 1

From the airport to the city: airport—Kang’an Road—Tongda Street—Anfa Bridge—railway station—Civil Aviation Building; buses operate from 7:30 until the last flight, with the same schedules of flights.

From the city to the airport: Civil Aviation Building-Edmonton Road Station (No.75, Edmonton Road)—airport; buses operate from 5:10, one bus leaves every 30 minutes between 5:30 and 20:00, and the last bus starts at 21:00.

Fare: 20 yuan

Civil Aviation Building is located at Airport Ticket Office, No.99, Zhongshan Road. Travelers within the city can take Bus 2, 3, 21, 22, 68, 69, 82, 103, 108, 111 or 115 and get off at Swan Hotel, while travelers near Harbin East Railway Station can take Bus 27 and get off at Civil Aviation Road.

2. Airport Bus Line 2

From the airport to the city: airport—Gear Road (at the gate of Fengxing Car Dealer of No.7, Airport Road)-Harbin West Passenger Station—Fashion City—Xuefu Hotel—Hexing Business Building—Lesong Square—Boiler Factory (under the overpass near the main entrance to Boiler Factory)—Haci Group (terminal of Bus 9)—Tongxiang Store (under the overpass near Tongxiang Store)—Nongken Building (in front of Beidahuang Hotel)—Tianyang Hotel (intersection of Hongqi Street and Hanshui Road)—Convention Center (in front of Huaqi Hotel on Hongqi Street); one bus leaves every 40 minutes between 9:40 and 19:10

From the city to the airport: Convention Center (Haihe Road)—Tianxing Hotel—Nongken Buildling—Tongxiang Store—Haici—Boiler Factory—Lesong Square—Hexing Building—Xuefu Hotel—Fashion City—Harbin West Passenger Station—Gear Road—market of second-hand cars—airport; buses depart at 7:00, 7:30, 8:30, 9:30, 16:30 and 17:00, and one bus leaves every 30 minutes between 10:00 and 15:30.

3. Airport Bus Line 3

From the airport to the city: airport—Gear Road—Guxiang Street—Central Street—Daowai Passenger Station—Ordnance Factory—Taiping Bridge; one bus leaves every 40 minutes between 10:00 and 19:30

From the city to the airport: Taiping Bridge—Ordnance Factory (opposite to Hans Barbeque of Longwei Building)—Daowai Passenger Station—Ba Qu (No.-171, Nanji Street)—Central Street (No.59, Jingweierdao Street)—Xinyang Road (No.277, Xinyang Road, near the cross of Anhong Street)—Gear Road (Airport Bus Station, No.419, Chengxiang Road)—airport; one bus leaves every 40 minutes between 5:50 and 16:30, and the last bus starts at 17:30.

Taxi: Walking out of the terminal of Taiping International Airport, you can take a taxi. It takes about 130 yuan (including the fees for highways) to taxi to the center of Harbin City.
