Travel Limmat River

There are public ships travelling around the Limmat River from April to October of every year, starting from the train station near the Landesmuseum, the ships travel for about 55 minutes. Ships depart every half an hour. If you do not get off the ship halfway the fare is 4.1 CHF. In April and October, Monday to Friday: 13:05-17:35; Saturday, Sunday: 10:05 -17:35; in May, June and September, Monday to Friday: 13:05-21:05; Saturday, Sunday: 10:05 -21:35; in July and August, everyday 10:05-21:05, Sunday as well as festivals and holidays there are other fast ships starting from 12:25 to 17:25 one every hour in the same route. (No stop in Limmat station)

Visit Zurich Lake

There is another line to enjoy the Zurich lake scenery by ship; it means the downtown of Zurich. There is one ship every half an hour starting from Burkliplatz from April to October. The fare is 8.2 Swiss francs. If you are interested in enjoying the scenery of Zurich Lake you can take the big ship starting from Burkliplatz to Rapperswil of St.Gallen, the fare is 24 Swiss francs (second class).
