Cruise into Montréal by boat

Arriving by boat or by cruise ship has become an increasingly popular way to get to Montréal. Every year from May to October, thousands of cruise passengers choose Montréal as their cruise starting point or final destination. In fact, more than 50 cruise liners travel up the St. Lawrence River and stop in the Port of Montréal annually.

In spring 2017, Montréal inaugurated a freshly updated passenger terminal at the Alexandra Pier in the Old Port of Montréal. Meanwhile, several marinas host private vessels along the St. Lawrence River and elsewhere.
