Chongqing Metro

Until Dec 30, 2014, Chongqing Rail Transit line has four operation lines, including line 1,2,3,6 (with the branch segment of line 6, among which, line 1 and 6 are subways, line 2 and 3 are light rails, covering nine districts of the main city of Chongqing, with 117 stations, operation mileage of 202 km. The length of the mileage ranked fourth in China (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan),ranked as number 1 in middle west.

​By 2015, there are 4 main lines in construction(including line 4, 5,10 and ringroad )along with other extended lines(such as Bishan paragraph Line 1, North extension Line 3),they will open to traffic in 2018 with 18 lines of long-term planning.
