Boston Metro

The Boston Metro is the first underground rapid transit system in the United States, now expanding to 65.5 miles long, from Malden in the north to Braintree in the south and Newton in the west. Boston's suburban commuter railroad is longer than 200 miles from Merimaic River Valley in the north to Providence in the south, and Worcester in the west. Considering the compact urban structure and large number of students in Boston, 13% people here prefer walking.
