As the main train station of Berlin, the Berlin Central Station was completed before the Germany Football World Cup in 2006. The station has five floors in total, the highest floor above ground (third floor) is the platform for East-west trains and light rails, and the lowest floor below ground (the second floor underground) is the platform for North-south trains.
