Beijing Train

As the national railway hub, Beijing has four passenger railway stations: Beijing West Railway Station, Beijing Railway Station, Beijing South Railway Station, and Beijing North Station (Xizhimen Railway Station). In addition, there is also Beijing East Railway Station and Fengtai Railway Station mainly used for freight. Every major station sets up ticket windows.

Beijing Railway Station is the top class passenger railway station in China. It mainly serves the train routes: Beijing-Shanhaiguan, Beijing-Qinhuangdao, Beijing-Shanghai, Beijing-Chengde, Beijing-Yuanping and Beijing-Baotou. There are also international trains and international intermodal passenger trains bound for Pyongyang, Ulan Bator, and Moscow.

Transportation: Take subway line 2, get off at Beijing Railway Station and check out at Exit C. Multichannel bus also can arrive there. Please get off at Beijing Railway Station East or Beijing Railway Station West.

Beijing West Railway Station is also a top class station. Trains leaving from here cover major cities in South, Southwest, and Northwest of China.

Transportation: Take a bus or subway line 9 to Beijing West Railway Station; take subway line 1 to Military Museum Station and check out at Exit C. Then you’ll see the shuttle bus destined for Beijing West Railway Station, It takes about 20 minutes on foot.

Beijing South Railway Station is the most modern railway station in Beijing. It is the origin and terminal of Beijing-Tianjin intercity railway and Beijing-Shanghai express railway.

Transportation: Take a bus to Beijing South Railway Station, or take subway line 4 to Beijing South Railway Station, and check out at Exit B or Exit D.
