There are mainly three railway stations in Guangzhou. Guangzhou South Railway Station serves passengers and has high-speed expresses which either do not stop or stops at few stations on the way. Guangzhou East Railway Station has trains that head for Fujian or run on the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Railway and Beijing-Jiulong Railway. Guangzhou Railway Station has older trains that run slowly, stop at many stations but offer lower fares; this station is the best choice for passengers who depart for middle-sized and smaller cities.

1. Guangzhou Railway Station

Located on Huanshi West Road of Guangzhou City, Guangzhou Railway Station is the largest railway station in Southern China and is one of the main passenger stations within the city.
