The railway transportation in Copenhagen is very developed; you can take the train to travel between cities. Visitors can buy a 3-day, 7-day pass or Copenhagen Card, which is much cheaper than a single ride. The railway station is located in the central station of the downtown with convenient transportation options. There are a lot of trains that depart for domestic cities from Copenhagen. Basically, you do not need to buy tickets in advance and just wait for the train in the train station directly. The service begins from 5:00am to 12:30am (the next day); the weekend departure time of the first train is a little bit later than usual.
