Tram

In 2004, the tram was put into use again in Barcelona. This kind of vehicle, complementary to the subway was once cancelled in 1971, but now it has become a sort of convenient, environmental-friendly, fast and also very comfortable transportation. The tram lines can arrive in main industrial areas, shopping centers and residential areas in Barcelona.

There are two tram lines in Barcelona: Trambaix line (T1, T2, T3), and Trambesòs line (T4, T5, T6).

Service time: 5:00 -24:00 (Monday to Thursday, Sunday and public holidays);

5:00-2:00 am (Friday, Saturday and the evening before public holidays)

Bus

Barcelona has over 1000 buses and more than 80 routes connecting every block of the city. With a low chassis, it is convenient for passengers with mobility difficulty to get on or off the bus. There are also night buses operating in most parts of the city and suburb.

Service time:

Normal bus: It has somewhat adjustment according to bus routes, and the service time of most buses is 4: 25-23: 00. The departure interval is 20-30 minutes on average at the weekend. Reference website: www.tmb.cat

Night Bus: The vast majority of night buses are operated from 22:40-23:40 to 5:00-6:00 in the next morning. All buses depart from and eventually reach Plaça Catalunya. Reference website: www.emt-amb.com
