【Introduction】:Tbilisi Municipality City Hall has launched a new platform to support the restart of the tourism sector and to stimulate domestic tourism across the country.

Tbilisi Municipality City Hall has launched a new platform to support the restart of the tourism sector and to stimulate domestic tourism across the country. The platform www.findouttbilisi.com assists private sector to continue operations and to stay connected during the coronavirus pandemic.

www.findouttbilisi.com allows the multitude of private companies (travel agencies, tour guides, cafes and restaurants, wine bars, concept shops and other entrepreneurs) to create, upload and introduce their special offers/initiatives to the millions of Georgian, as well as international visitors. Moreover, the platform gives access in one space to the numerous tourism companies to register and post complete information about the company’s activities and services in general.

Within the work of the project, the portal www.findouttbilisi.com will be expanded and the information will be provided to the international associations and organizations the Municipality City Hall cooperates. Therefore, www.findouttbilisi.com is available for worldwide international travelers.

Georgia is opening its borders to travelers from five countries, which are Germany, France, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia. Citizens/permanent residents of these countries can use only air travel for any kind of visit to Georgia without quarantine. Citizens of the other EU member states (Italy, Greece, Spain, Poland, Portugal, etc…) will be able to enter Georgia as long as they complete a 14 – day quarantine period at their own expenses. Besides, Georgia is on a list of countries to enter the European Union from July 1.
