The 15th Busan Fireworks Festival will take place this year on Saturday, November 2nd in the Gwangalli Beach area.
The Busan International Fireworks Festival, held annually at Gwangalli Beach, Busan, is one of the most significant fireworks festivals in Asia. Tens of thousands of fireworks and state-of-the-art lasers light up the sky in harmony with the theme song of the festival against a backdrop of the sea and the 2-level suspension bridge, Gwangandaegyo Bridge. The festival attracts roughly 1 million Korean and overseas spectators.
Fireworks are shot from barges on the sea near Igidae, Gwangalli Beach and Dongbaekseom Island to create a three-dimensional and dynamic fireworks show that people in multiple locations can view. New displays of fireworks will be produced this year.
