After Colmar and Athens Tbilisi is the European Best Destination 2020

Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, has gained the third place and ranked among the top European Destinations in an international competition European Best Destination 2020.

Tbilisi’s rival cities were Vienna, Milan, Madrid, Paris, Amsterdam, Prague, Lisbon, Berlin, etc…

More than 600 000 people have voted for their best European Destinations for the eleventh edition of the competition this year. The voting process began on the 15th of January and ended on the 5th of February.

“Tbilisi is probably the most beautiful destination of this competition. A cosmopolitan city, which shows respect to its past, but also, looks towards the future; it is real revelation of this event, the rising star of tourism in Europe, a city on the level of Milan, Lisbon, Berlin. A city full of riches and future plans, one of the most dynamic cities in the world.” – stated in an official EBD release.

According to an official statement of European Best Destinations organization, almost one in six travelers around the world voted for Tbilisi as their favorite destination.

Tbilisi will be promoted to tens of millions of travelers and, also media and tourism professionals throughout the year 2020.
