Green Vienna - Vienna was named the "greenest city in the world"

Vienna ranked first in the list of the world’s greenest cities in 2020, according to Resonance Consultancy Index. And this list is aimed to direct human society to a greener future.

Vienna, the capital of Austria, has been committed to continuously reducing carbon dioxide emission by implementing its city plans in an orderly way over the past decades.

Vienna has proven its relentless efforts in the innovation and implementation concerning environment protection through the number of public green space, the ratio of recyclable resources and the percentage of renewable energy sources.

A great number of city parks, walking paths as well as the Vienna forest at Vienna’s boundaries are the solid evidence that Vienna is a green city.
