540,000mu Trees Will Be Planted in Tianjin This Year to Green the City Tianjin

Learned from the village work conference held the day before yesterday. This year, the afforestation work will be continued and enhanced that 540,000mu trees will be planned to be panted in Tianjin with 11 key greening projects.

It is said the 11 key greening projects, covering a greening area of 85,000mu, include areas of outside area of Outer Ring Line, interchange of Jinbin Expressway and Jishan Expressway, Jingang Expressway, Jingqin Expressway, Jinji Expressway, Jinning Expressway, Jinghu Expressway, Jinji Railway, Jinqin High Speed Railway, North Canal, interchange and toll-gate ramp of expressways. At the same time, the current forest resource will be enhanced on protection and the “13th Five Year Plan” on Afforestation of Tianjin will also be published.
