Reasons for this success story are low cost and non-stop long distance flights which connect Berlin to Europe and the world.
Going to a museum late at night – that's the idea behind the "Long Night at the Museums" in Berlin. Several Berlin museums first came up with this idea in 1997 and the "Long Nights" are now as much a part of Berlin as the TV Tower and the Ku'damm. Once a year the city shines a special spotlight on the riches it has on display year round. Bus shuttles connect participating venues.
