【Introduction】:During the World Tourism Cities Federation Asia-Pacific Conference 2017, Mr. Li Baochun, Executive Deputy Secretary-General of WTCF, was interviewed by the media.

Mr. Li Baochun:

For countries along the “One Belt One Road” route, tourism is important. WTCF is committed to building up city hubs along the “One Belt One Road” route. So far, we have done a large amount of work, such as the China-Mongolia-Russia “One Belt One Road” Tourism Conference, which positively boosted the development of cross-border tourism; and the WTCF Rabat & Fez Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit 2015 in Morocco, which significantly boosted the development of the tourism market in Africa. In addition, we also make efforts to cooperate with other tourism organizations and hope to build up city hubs and boost the Asia-Pacific tourism development. In the future, we will make refined tours, and strengthen our cooperation with travel agencies and tourism cities, facilitate the tourism market and further facilitate navigation, rescue, customs clearance, and other aspects. The next objective of WTCF is to connect countries along the “One Belt One Road” route and exploit the tourism market of these countries as a whole. From now on, WTCF will annually hold conferences in countries along the “One Belt One Road” route, discuss questions we all care about, and research tourism investment projects with countries along the “One Belt and One Road” route. Finally, we will provide the tourism market with the Annual Report on Development of World Tourism Cities, Report on World Tourism Economy Trends and other research findings.
