LOS ANGELES, CA - 15 Sep, 2017 - 2017 World Tourism Cities Federation Los Angeles Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit will be held in Los Angeles on September 19-20, 2017 in InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown. More than 20 largest Chinese financial organizations and investment funds will participate the investment fair on September 20th to evaluate and conclude deals on travel related business opportunities in Los Angeles and U.S.
The 20 Chinese financial organizations and funds include CMB International, China Science & Merchants Investment Fund and Providential Capital, etc. They will reach a final agreement on 30 travel related projects including real-estate, medicare and entertainment projects. Some of the American companies include Hubcity Live and Coldroom Entertainment. WTCF has been hosting investment fair since 2014, and more than 5800 business deals were made during the past investment fairs. The total amount of trasactions made has surpassed 1 billion dollars.
Mayors of more than 40 cities, including Los Angeles, Beijing China, Ottawa Canada, Nice France, Budapest Hungary will all come to the summit and participate the event. Representatives from UNWTO, Vice President of Google and MGM and other big enterprises will also be present to talk about the future of tourism and the potential the summit can bring to all these cities.
WTCF is an international tourism organization comprised mainly of world tourism cities. Its membership has been expanding since the establishment in 2012. Now WTCF has 184 members around the world, from 38 at the outset, greatly improving its influence in the international society. The Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit is an important platform for cooperation and exchanges among world tourism cities. Since the inception of WTCF, five Fragrant Hills Tourism Summits have been successfully held in different member cities.
The theme of this year's summit is "Impact of Globalization on Tourism City Development." During the period, the WTCF council will convene to determine the host city for the 2019 summit, and there will be a series of activities, including an opening ceremony, tourism investment fair, tourism marketplace and tourism exhibition. In addition, four forum sessions with the themes of "Solutions to Challenges Faced by Tourism Cities," "Competitive Strengths and Brand Building Tourism Cities," "Policy Environment Promotes Tourism Investment" and "China's Outbound Tourism Market: New Trend and Market Dynamics" will be held to echo the main theme of the summit.
During the summit, WTCF will also publish “World Tourism City Development Report 2017”, in which will contain the ranking of world tourism cities. 20 financial organizations and funds will participate the investment fair to help connecting between tourism cities and tourism investment organizations.
