St. Petersburg FIFA Fan Festival

FIFA Fan Fest in Saint. Petersburg takes place at Konushennaya Square (Konushennaya Ploschad) from June 14The festival will run daily from June 14 to July 15 from 11 am to 11pm, while during the match days the guests will be able to watch all 64 matches of the tournament on giant high-quality screens. The sound and lighting systems installed will create an effect of presence in the stadium.

The area on which the FIFA Fan Festival™ is located is 18 058 square meters. In such territory, especially being in a crowd, it is very easy to get lost. Therefore, the numbered towers are arranged that will serve as a good guide and a meeting place. There are five main towers and each one is of 11 meters high.

The Fan Festival will be free for the whole family, and the time spent there will be interesting and safe. In this case, there should be enough place for everyone – the Festival is able to welcome up to fifteen thousand guests at the same time.

Entrance

At the main gate the guests of the festival should not expect anything unusual: each of the entrances is equipped with metal detector frames, as well as at many other mass events. Bags will also be inspected – this is a mandatory requirement of security. At the entrances the counters of site visitors are installed to ensure that the number of people on the site does not exceed the critical mass at one time.

In addition to the main entrance, from the Church of the Spilled Blood, fans will be able to get to the Festival from the Field of Mars or Bolshaya Konyushennaya Street. The organizers paid special attention to the creation of comfortable conditions for visiting the Festival for low mobility groups: special entrances marked with special signs of the line are created for them at all checkpoints, and the screening process will be carried out using hand-held detectors.

It will be interesting not only for football fans. There is a big entertainment program, live music will be played; fans will be able to participate in contests and win souvenirs from sponsors and partners of FIFA™, chat with football stars and other honorable guests of the Festival.
