Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Central Asian Regional Conference of the World Federation of Tourist Cities (WTCF) will be held in Samarkand on 26-27 November.

Representatives of leading Chinese travel companies QYER (Beijing) Company Limited, Utour, Caissa and others, as well as a number of Chinese investment companies Tourism Capital, Palm Investment Co., Ltd, Shougang Concord International Enterprises Co. Ltd and others will take part in this event.

Among the participating countries, there will be cities such as Penang (Malaysia), Tbilisi, Tanjung Pandan (Indonesia), The Hague (Netherlands), etc. Representatives of a number of foreign media, such as China Tourism News, "will also participate in this event. It is important to note that Samarkand was the first city in Uzbekistan to be accepted as a member of the World Federation of Tourist Cities (WTCF) in early 2019. The organization includes 142 cities and 80 international institutions.

The World Federation of Tourism Cities (WTCF) is an international tourism organization voluntarily formed jointly with well-known tourism cities and tourism-related institutions around the world at the initiative of Beijing.
