Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport is in the northwest of district of Dalian, about 10 miles away from the city center. The airport has established routes with 145 airlines including 98 national airlines and 47 international airlines; basically covering large and medium sized cities in China, and all the major countries in the East and Southeast Asia, Europe, North America, and Middle-East regions. It is the airport with the largest passenger throughput in Dongbei area.

Transportation

1 By airport bus

Airport buses depart every 20 minutes. The starting and ending time follows the same schedule as the earliest and latest arrival time of the day’s flight, ticket price is 10 RMB for a 30 minutes ride for a single trip.

2 By bus

No.9, 532, 701, 710, 717 buses, and individual line from the Dalian train station to Xiajiahezi can access the airport. The no.532, 701, 710 buses can be found in the city center, 40 minutes ride for a single trip.

3 Taxis

Taxi stands are at the far right of the Zhoushuizi airport gates. It takes only 20 minutes to arrive to the city center and costs about 40 RMB. If you go to the railway station from the airport by taxi, it may cost around 30 RMB.

There are 4 railway stations in Dalian, respectively they are Dalian Railway Station, Shahekou Railway Station, Zhoushuizi Railway Station, and the new established Dalian North Railway Station. The latter 3 stations are located in Dalian’s suburb. Among them, Dalian Railway Station and Dalian North Railway Station are the two major transportation hub of Dalian.
