Get a taste of India in Ireland at this year’s annual India Day. On the beautiful grounds of Farmleigh House in the Phoenix Park, it promises to be a riot of colour and flavour.

Held every year around the 15th of August to commemorate India’s independence from Britain, this year’s India Day will have particular resonance with Ireland’s own year-long 2016 Centenary celebrations.

Organised by the Federation of Indian Communities in Ireland (FICI) at Farmleigh, the official Irish State guest house, and supported by the Indian Embassy in Ireland, OPW, Dublin City Council, Dublin City Arts Office, and various other government and non-government organisations, it’s your chance to bring the family out to experience all the wonder and colour of Indian culture in a beautiful Irish setting.

Taste the fresh flavours of traditional Indian cooking, learn how to dance to the enchanting sounds of India’s music. Celebrate the art and film - including Bollywood - of a diverse and ancient land rich with culture and history.

It will be a fascinating and unforgettable day out. Don’t miss it.
