The popular swimming event takes place on 27 August 2016. It is the only time of the year where you are allowd to swim in the Limmat. However, tickets must be purchased for this event.

The Limmatschwimmen traditionally starts with the competition swimmers at 12 clock. Afterwards it's the turn of all the people who would like to swim for fun. This time, we would like to emphasize more on swim bags, where you take your clothes with you rather than have them transported by boat. These bags can be purchased separately. If you already have a swim bag, you are welcome to bring it along. Public transportation: Stops Bellevue, Bürkliplatz, Helmhaus or Paradeplatz. In our ticket the public transport in the whole canton Zurich is included!
