Description This 1-month-long summer event takes place at three locations: on the riverbank at Voie Georges Pompidou, on the forecourt of the Hôtel de Ville (Paris City Hall) and at the La Villette canal basin. Tons of sand are spread on the riverbanks to create a relaxing beach-side atmosphere by the water. There are lots of activities for grown-ups and kids: water sports, dance and martial arts lessons, table football, pétanque, etc. At the La Villette canal basin, there are also pedalos, kayaks and mini-golf. During Paris Plage, the Fnac Live music festival is held in front of the Hôtel de Ville. A great opportunity for thousands of spectators to hear some thirty or so artists at free outdoor concerts. The festival has previously featured Charlie Winston, Gregory Porter, Jeanne Cherhal, Glass Animals ...
