【Introduction】：From August 31 to January 3, 2017, the 3rd Tianjin International Opera and Dance Festival will be held at Tianjin Grand Theater. During the four-month event, 19 performances consisting of 37 operas and dances as well as 15 seminars will immerse the city in artistic atmosphere.

During the four-month event, 19 performances consisting of 37 operas and dances as well as 15 seminars will immerse the city in artistic atmosphere. From August 31 to September 4, Ballet Theater La Scala is visiting China again after ten years with the classical ballet Giselle and modern ballet Bach non accompaniment Cello Suite. As the opening performance troupe, Las Scala has brought a huge lineup of over 100 performers including three chief dancers Claudio Covey Ronaldo, Antonino Soutra, and Nicoleta Manny. In addition, the Mariinsky Theatre will be visiting Tianjin Grand Theater for the third time and bring the classical ballet Romeo and Juliet.
