【Introduction】:On March 29, 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 31 new cases of confirmed infections (30 imported cases and 1 indigenous case in Gansu province), 17 new cases of suspected infections (all are imported cases), and 4 deaths (all in Hubei province).

Serious cases decreased by 109.
As of 24:00 on March 29, 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps had reported 723 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 93 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 630 confirmed cases (including 19 in serious condition) and 165 suspected cases.
As of 24:00 on March 29, the National Health Commission had received 81,470 reports of confirmed cases and 3,304 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, and in all 75,770 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 2,396 confirmed cases (including 633 in serious condition) and 168 suspected cases. So far, 704,190 people have been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 19,235 are now under medical observation.
On March 29, Hubei reported no new cases of confirmed infections, no new cases of suspected infections, and 4 deaths (all in Wuhan). 317 patients were released from hospital after being cured, including 315 in Wuhan.
As of 24:00 on March 29, Hubei had reported 67,801 cases of confirmed infections (including 50,006 in Wuhan) and 3,186 deaths (including 2,547 in Wuhan). In all, 62,882 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital, including 45,733 in Wuhan. There still remained 1,733 confirmed cases (including 1,726 in Wuhan), with 601 in serious condition (including 597 in Wuhan). There were no suspected cases.
As of 24:00 on March 29, 977 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 641 in Hong Kong (4 had been dead and 118 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 38 in Macao (10 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 298 in Taiwan (3 had been dead and 39 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
