【Introduction】:As of 24:00 on April 19, 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps had reported 1,583 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths.
On April 19, 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 12 new cases of confirmed infections (8 imported cases and 4 indigenous cases, 3 in Heilongjiang province and 1 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region), 2 new cases of suspected infections (both are imported cases in Shanghai municipality), and no deaths. 22 patients were released from hospital after being cured. 904 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. Serious cases decreased by 4.
As of 24:00 on April 19, 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps had reported 1,583 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 742 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 841 confirmed cases (including 43 in serious condition) and 39 suspected cases.
As of 24:00 on April 19, the National Health Commission had received 82,747 reports of confirmed cases and 4,632 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, and in all 77,084 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 1,031 confirmed cases (including 81 in serious condition) and 43 suspected cases. So far, 725,814 people have been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 8,694 are now under medical observation. On April 19, Hubei province reported no new cases of confirmed infections, no new cases of suspected infections, and no deaths. 4 patients (all in Wuhan) were released from hospital after being cured.
As of 24:00 on April 19, Hubei had reported 68,128 cases of confirmed infections (including 50,333 in Wuhan) and 4,512 deaths (including 3,869 in Wuhan). In all, 63,511 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital, including 46,359 in Wuhan. There still remained 105 confirmed cases (all in Wuhan), with 20 in serious condition (all in Wuhan). There were no suspected cases.
On April 19, 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 49 new asymptomatic cases (including 5 imported cases). 58 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (including 7 imported cases) and no asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases. As of 24:00 on April 19, 990 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 184 imported cases).
As of 24:00 on April 19, 1,490 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 1,025 in Hong Kong (4 had been dead and 602 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 45 in Macao (20 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 420 in Taiwan (6 had been dead and 189 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
