【Introduction】:On June 28, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 12 new cases of confirmed infections (5 imported cases, 3 in Sichuan province, 1 in Liaoning province, and 1 in Shanghai municipality; 7 indigenous cases, all in Beijing municipality), 4 new cases of suspected infections (all are indigenous cases in Beijing), and no deaths.
On June 28, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 12 new cases of confirmed infections (5 imported cases, 3 in Sichuan province, 1 in Liaoning province, and 1 in Shanghai municipality; 7 indigenous cases, all in Beijing municipality), 4 new cases of suspected infections (all are indigenous cases in Beijing), and no deaths. 9 patients were released from hospital after being cured. 824 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases remained unchanged.
As of 24:00 on June 28, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 1,907 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 1,823 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 84 confirmed cases (including 1 in serious condition) and no suspected cases.
As of 24:00 on June 28, the National Health Commission had received reports of 83,512 confirmed cases and 4,634 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 78,460 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 418 confirmed cases (including 8 cases in serious condition) and 10 suspected cases. 762,119 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 7,012 were still under medical observation.
On June 28, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 6 new asymptomatic cases (including 5 imported cases). 9 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (including 8 imported cases) and 1 (indigenous case) became a confirmed case. As of 24:00 on June 28, 102 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 63 imported cases).
As of 24:00 on June 28, 1,692 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 1,199 in Hong Kong (7 had died and 1,104 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 46 in Macao (45 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 447 in Taiwan (7 had died and 435 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
