Ltd., the promotion program “Red Tourism, Sparkle in China” was formally launched at the CAIA (Beijing National Stadium). This promotion will integrate the resources from the government, media, associations and red tourism destinations, to plan red tourism themed activities, visit outstanding red tourism destinations and promote local travel resource, and “Extol the Red Army spirit to raise the red storm in China.”

It is said that the promotion includes several ground activities the theme of “Red Tourism, Find out Red Memory.” Each activity is divided into 5 chapters: Travel, Memories, Prospects, Gratitude, and Discovery. It will trace the history by conducting interviews on scene, letting guests tell the stories about the Red Army, speaking to governments’ leaders, in addition to analyzing Red Tourism to understand its current situation and future from a developmental perspective. Also, this will promote cities and scenic spots from the perspective of tourism. The activity will provide epic scenes with the use of music, dance, drama, scene play and multimedia to attract attention of the public. The activity plan has scheduled two red tourist destinations promotion every month. It will send invitation to every audience member and promote several red tourism routes. Finally, the authoritative red tourism data will be released along with 10 selected red tourism routes and 20 poverty alleviation red tourism routes.

The Travel Channel is the only professional satellite tourism channel in China, devoted to showing the beautiful Chinese tourism resource to actively fulfill public welfare. During the launch ceremony, Travel Channel made a promise that they will take the TV screen as a battlefield, launch the all-media resource and donate advertisement resources valued at over millions for each red tourism destination, investing over 50 million RMB in total. In addition, Travel Channel will open up full channel with multiple episodes and ensure an all-round promotion for participating red tourism destinations.

In the international background of the booming tourism industry, the red tourism in China shows prosperity with lots of people participating. As a resounding brand, red tourism has become an important choice when people plan their vacations. According to incomplete statistics, in 2016 red tourism tourists numbers reached 1.147 billion and brought in about RMB 3 billion in profits. The “Red Tourism, Sparkle in China” red tourism promotion in conjunction with red tourism TV programs, make it into a full coverage and full-media promotion. Definitely, it will become the power for red tourism resource integration, promoting development, and realizing fast and good red tourism development.
