Introduction: Dr. Li Xinjian is the Professor and Dean of College of Tourism Management at Beijing International Studies University(BISU). Li is also the Director of China Tourism and Leisure Research Centre in BISU. The research interests include: the economic development strategy of tourism industry, outbound tourism market research, transnational business and management of tourism enterprises, etc. Prof. Li has published more than 80 papers in periodicals, journals such as “Guangming Daily (Theoretical Edition)”, “Tourism Tribune”, etc. Li is the co-editor of Tourism Economics which has been translated into English to extend to overseas as the China Tourism Academic Collection. Currently, and is the only person who won consecutive National Tourism Administration Academic Achievement Award for outstanding tourism researchers from 2010 to 2012.
