On the morning of September 18th, on behalf of Mayor of Kathmandu, Mr. Yam Prasad Basel, Officer and Focal Person of the Kathmandu City Office, was interviewed by representatives of The Travel Channel and We-media of the WTCF. He introduced the travel resources of Kathmandu and expressed his expectation for the WTCF to promote the development of Kathmandu’s tourism industry.
On the morning of September 18, representatives from The Travel Channel and WTCF We-media interviewed Mr. Jafif Andres, Mayor of Punta del Este, Uruguay. Mr. Andres introduced the travel resources of Punta del Este and expressed his expectation of the 2016 Chongqing Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit.
On the morning of September 18th, just before the Chongqing Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit started, The Travel Channel and the We-media of WTCF interviewed Luo Xingqiang, Director of Tourism Department of Penang, Malaysia.
The China Association of Private Equity (CAPE) and the World Tourism City Federation (WTCF) have planned to jointly launch an investment subcommittee which bears great significance to the development of China’s economy and tourism industry in particular.
Thanks to the World Tourism Cities Federation,Chongqing was chosen as the 2016 venue for the summit. We also believe that the summit can bring more glory toChongqing city.
Valletta is the city member of WTCF and the country’s Ambassador, John Aquilina, stated that “I think that there’s a lot more that Valletta can do, Valletta is reaching out and obviously like the rest of Malta, it’s looking for new horizons.” In addition, he also said “In 2018 Valletta will be declared the cultural capital of Europe; many more people will want to go to see just exactly what an experience Valletta is.”
