Dresdner Schlössernacht

The “Dresdner Schlössernacht” (Dresden’s Night of the Palaces) on 15 July, is the dazzling start to this year’s open-air arts season in the Saxon capital. The celebrations take place in and around the three “Elbe palaces”: Albrechtsberg Palace, Lingner Palace and Eckberg Palace. Once the residences of rich families, they are now cultural sites, restaurants, hotels and a winemaker’s residence open to the general public. At the “Dresdner Schlössernacht” their chambers and parks are transformed into concert halls and ballrooms.
