【Introduction】:This year's CS Lewis Festival takes place from 22 Nov - 26 Nov 2019, and its theme is from the much-loved Chronicles of Narnia.
Born and bred in east Belfast, CS Lewis was one of the intellectual giants of the 20th century and arguably the most influential Christian writer of his day. His major contributions in literary criticism, children's literature, fantasy literature, and popular theology brought him international renown And acclaim.
The CS Lewis Festival celebrates the legacy of Lewis through themes of storytelling, imagination and spirituality with events including talks, lectures and tours, exhibitions, workshops, theatre, poetry and spoken word events and film screenings. This year expect to see some firm favourites, New ideas and some quirky events, across five days of the festival.

With plenty of family-friendly events, a huge range of informative talks and discussions and lots of opportunities to explore your own imagination through bespoke workshops, the CS Lewis Festival 2019 has something to offer everyone.
This year they'll also be showcasing the work of other great imagination heroes who, like Lewis, have used their creativity to help us see the world in a slightly different way.
