Copenhagen Meatpacking District Food & Market

Throughout the summer you can experience the food market Kødbyens Mad & Marked every Saturday and Sunday. It's located in the city area Vesterbro in the meatpacking district.

Once the meatpacking district - known in Danish as Kødbyen - was an area only for wholesalers and butchers, but today there is a lot going on with restaurants, bars and then the food market. The food is delicious and of good quality and the prices are kept low so they can fit most budgets. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy and invites you to sit around communal tables and have drinks and food in the sun. You can also just come by and buy whatever ingredients you want for your dinner.
