A city that's already one of the most Instagrammed places in the U.S. is getting one more whimsically worthy spot Aug. 24 when Happy Place opens at the Shoppes at Mandalay Place in Las Vegas.

The interactive, immersive pop-up exhibit features larger-than-life installations and multisensory themed rooms, all dedicated to spreading happiness. Happy Place, which will be produced by Faculty Productions in partnership with Live Nation Las Vegas, has appeared in Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto and Boston since 2017.

"Happy Place exists to provide an oasis for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together and embrace moments of happiness in their everyday lives," Happy Place founder Jared Paul said. "It's been incredible to see all of the smiles created and lives it has touched so far."

Among the 12 vibrantly photogenic rooms in the 15,000-square-foot space: the Super Bloom room filled with 40,000 handmade gold flowers; the Upside Down room that seems to defy gravity; the Confetti Dome; 6-foot x's and o's covered in thousands of mirrored squares and surrounded by red lips; a Giant Rainbow with a Pot of Happiness; the Rubber Ducky Bathtub of Fun; the Cookie Room with the aroma of freshly baked cookies; and a life-size unicorn named Cornelius.

Guests will also be treated to special features and art unique to Las Vegas.

"I am thrilled that we are coming to Las Vegas, which is already full of so much joy and happy. I look forward to seeing how the city will express itself using Happy Place," said Paul, a live entertainment producer who has managed New Kids on the Block, Sabrina Carpenter and Lea Michele.

Happy Place's four other pop-ups have greeted celebrities such as Diplo, Hilary Duff, JoJo Siw, Kerry Washington, Kourtney Kardashian, Olivia Wilde, Rashida Jones and Travis Barker. International recording artists DJ Marshmello and Anne-Marie shot a video for their hit "Friends" at Happy Place; it has now been seen by more than 120 million viewers.

The pop-ups have hosted groups of all sizes and ages, birthday and bachelorette parties and even marriage proposals.

Proceeds from the Happy Lemonade Stand will help local charities. To date, Happy Place has donated more than $100,000 to local groups in the other cities in which it has appeared.

"Las Vegas is home to the biggest residency artists in the world, who bring so much joy to thousands of guests each year," said Kurt Melien, president of Live Nation Las Vegas. "I cannot think of a better complement to these shows and a more perfect addition to the Las Vegas entertainment landscape than Happy Place."

Happy Place also will open at the King of Prussia Mall northwest of Philadelphia in October.

Mandalay Bay president and COO Chuck Bowling said he looks forward to Happy Place's arrival. "Its social popularity and success in prior markets lead us to believe it will quickly become a leading entertainment destination for Las Vegas visitors," Bowling said. "We can't wait for our guests to find another 'happy place' to experience within the resort."

Guests are advised to book in advance since Happy Place was frequently sold out in other cities. Hourly slots are available from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily through February. Tickets start at $23 plus fees for children ages 4 to 12 and $30 plus fees for adults. Visit HappyPlace.me for more information.
