Giraffe Park

Giraffe Park, located in the Langata Area of Nairobi, Kenya, is about 5 km away from the Nairobi downtown area. It was founded for the purpose of protecting “Rothschild,” the endangered giraffe, which was once found in the East African savannah. Giraffe Park was founded by Jock Leslie-Melville, the Kenyan grandson of a Scottish earl when Jock and his wife caught a little giraffe and feed him in the area which becomes the Giraffe Park today. Giraffe Park has been widely concerned and acclaimed since founded, which made the park gives pairs of Rothschild giraffe to the Kenyan National Park to feed.
