The main public transport in Belgrade city are buses, trams and trolleybuses with universal tickets, a single ticket can be bought from the driver after getting on the bus (ticket price: 150 dinars). You’d better prepare some exact money ahead of getting on the bus, as large denomination notes may be rejected.

BusPlus / БусПлус Bus Pass

With a Belgrade bus pass, you can take the city bus, tram, trolleybus and train, using a recharged card (89 dinars / time valid for 90 minutes) is cheaper than buying a single ticket. There are 2 kinds of BusPlus cards to choose from, both do not include personal information, thus the BusPlus can be used by several people at the same time. Plastic card (card fee: 250 dinars), valid for 4 years, can be repeatedly recharged; paper card (card fee: 40 dinars), with choices of 24-hour ticket (280 Dinar), 72-hour ticket (720 dinars) and 120-hours ticket (1100 Dinar), not available for repeatedly recharging. Using both bus pass types, you need to swipe the card at each transfer. Bus passes can be purchased in many of the city's kiosks, small supermarkets, and shops providing them have the marks reading “БусПлус (BusPlus)” on the doors.
