The City of Busan has announced that Busan Citizens Park will be open for 24 hours a day from July 26 to August 31 to provide a place to cool off from the recent sizzling heat wave.
The facilities for children, including sand playground, water plaza and music fountain will be open until midnight. The parking fee will be waived from midnight to 9:00 am for night visitors.
A shade canopy will be installed at the sand playground in the park in early August so children can play out of the sun all day.
Movie screenings and busking performances are schedule to be held in the park at night as well.
Getting there: Bujeon Station (Metro line 1), exit 7. Walk straight to the intersection and turn left. Walk straight for 10 minutes.
