St. Petersburg is Gastronomic Capital of Russia

The ranking of Russian cities with the best and most popular restaurants and other gastronomic festival was presented by analytical agency TurStat on October 20th, the International Chefs Day. Top three Russian cities with best gastronomic festivals in city restaurants and cafe are Moscow (1st place), St. Petersburg (2nd place) and Vladivostok (3rd place). Krasnodar was placed 4th, and Yekaterinburg became 5th.

Popularity analysis and uniqueness of festivals became basis of the TurStat agency ranking.

The fifth St. Petersburg Restaurant Festival, organized by St. Petersburg Committee for Tourism Development, will take place in the restaurants of the city during whole November. This time, the Festival will be connected to the 300th anniversary of Nevsky Prospect. And the past one, held in April, was based on the FIFA World Cup.

Within the frameworks of the St. Petersburg Restaurant Festival, all participating restaurants suggest guests degustation sets for 990 and 1990 rubles, and breakfast for a special price.
