【Introduction】:On 22-23 May, Tbilisi will host one of the most prominent events in tourism industry in the region – Georgian Tourism Fair (GTF) 2020.
Tbilisi, capital of Georgia is gradually gaining its reputation as one of the most attractive, colourful and vivid cities in the world. The mix of ancient and modern, eclectic architecture, miscellaneous multicultural buildings, numerous authentic cafes and restaurants representing the richness and diversity of Georgian gastronomy and first and foremost – safety, all these makes the city thoroughly desired and vibrant destinations of the world.
On 22-23 May, Tbilisi will host one of the most prominent events in tourism industry in the region – Georgian Tourism Fair (GTF) 2020. The aim of the event is to raise the awareness of the city’s tourism opportunities, to share experiences, to build up relations with the other international tourism companies, to strengthen its international presence and to assist Georgian tourism industry by attracting new markets. During the exhibition, Tbilisi will host up to 100 buyers (travel companies) from more than 15 different countries. Several established major professional conference organizers (PCO), Destination Management companies (DMC), Travel Agents, Professional events organizers (PEO), International associations, meeting planners from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, India, Belgium, Germany, UK, Portugal, France, USA, Romania, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Israel, Lithuania, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Qatar will be meeting face to face with the representatives of Georgian tourism companies. In the work of the exhibition, two-day travel forum on emerging trends in tourism and hospitality will be held, where the representatives of the established international tourism organizations as the filed experts will meet, interact and exchange the ideas with the Caucasian audience.
Georgian Tourism Fair (GTF) 2020 is supported by Tbilisi Municipality City Hall, Georgian National Tourism Administration, USAID, Georgian Airways, various international airline companies and other public or private organizations.
