Nancy Cockerell has more than 35 years experience working in the travel & tourism industry, based in different countries in Europe and Asia – both in the media and in customised research and consultancy. She is a well-known commentator on industry trends and developments and has been a frequent speaker at international conferences. Now independent and contributing to a number of different publications, Nancy worked for many years for the London-based Economist Intelligence Unit, as well as conducting market and policy analysis, in-depth studies and short reports on a wide range of subjects for various media, and also public and private sector organisations involved in tourism. These have included OECD, UNWTO, WTTC, ETC and PATA.
