This bakery has, in fact, two seraphs on its sign. Two cherubs symbolising simplicity and those delicious flavours remembered from infancy. A sweet childhood, full of delightful things to eat.
The bakery has been in Via Faruffini near Piazza De Angeli since 1958 and bakes bread, pizzas and high quality patisserie. A craft dating back as far as the second half of the 20th century when first the great grandmother, Filomena followed by the grandmother, Serafina, baked cakes for their clients; ricotta and cream cake, honey biscuits and the most colourful focaccias with the most varied of fillings. An array of delicious things to brighten the table.
This ancient craft was passed down through the generations that followed to reach us today. Gianluca and Stefano Frigoli together with master bakers have thus produced one of the most authentic traditional Milanese panetones and today are the custodians of a heritage rich in hi story and flavours. An ancient art being continued today using only the best ingredients.
