Hot Bowl is home to Penang Curry Mee and Pek Cham Kei. This place located in Abu Siti Lane offers mouth-watering curry mee. Their version affectionately known to locals as White Curry Mee comes with a lighter pale color coconut based broth.
The business is run by Mr Ho Peng Song and he has been selling the curry mee for over two decades. The curry mee is served with dried tofu pok (tau pok), cuttlefish, pig’s coagulated blood cubes and bloody cockles.
Customers can spice up and enhance the flavour of the curry mee with additional homemade chilli paste. Ready-bottled chilli paste is made ready for sale too.
