Hangzhou Grand Theater is by the Qiantang River. The building’s surface is covered with silver imported titanium plates that resemble a pearl. The glass screen is like a crescent hanging on the sky over Qiantang River. The theater has an opera hall with 1,600 seats, a music hall that seats 600 people, and a multi-functional hall with 400 seats. There is also a sinking style theater and a cultural square in the open air. It is the most important venue for art and cultural performance in Hangzhou.
