Komarovsky Rynok
This market is the biggest in the Minsk. It is located in the centre of the city on Yakuba Kolosa Square.
This former traditional marketplace has been completely modernized. Despite having lost its old-world charm, this rynok is still a great place to come and buy local productions.
Loshitskiy Park
Loshitsky park is one of the most picturesque parks in Minsk and favorite vacation spot for citizens. This park is famous for exuberant flora and remarkable chronicle. In the XIX century this place attracted all the elite of the city to spend holiday evenings there. The history of the park is thrown by a cloak of different kinds of legends.
One of them is The legend of the "Princely bed".
The legend is connected with the period of feuda l wars in the Middle Ages. According to legend, one of the Belarusian princes gone forth against his brother, stopped to spend the night on a hill not far from Minsk. Prince awoke to the fact that under him springs began to break. This phenomenon has been interpreted as a sign to stop the bloodshed, and prince turned back his troops. To commemorate this event, the place became known as Knyazhev bed (Lozhe), and then took its present name - Loshitsa.
