Famous sculptures and statues in Minsk
City's life of 19th century
At the Komarovsky market place there is a row of genre sculptures illustrating the city's life of the 19th century. The main author of these sculptures is V. Zhbanov ("The Photographer", "The lady with a small dog", "The Horse" attracts the attention of all passers-by). Almost every one can't help but stay and admire the sculptures. One sculpture is belonging to the hands of Oleg Kuprianov who created it in 2002. The sculpture of an old woman selling sunflower seeds surrounded by bronze sparrows was created by Oleg Kuprianov.
