Don't Shoot the Painter - Painting and sculpture

New date with the masterpieces of the UBS Art Collection: the GAM and the municipality of Milan, together with UBS, present a major exhibition dedicated to painting, curated by Francesco Bonami. About 100 paintings, from the ‘60s to the present day, will be publically exhibited for the first time in the splendid rooms of the GAM - Gallery of Modern Art in the Villa Reale in Milan.

Some of the artists are names of international renown with works previously unpublished in Italy including: John Armleder, John Baldessari, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Michaël Borremans, Alice Channer, Sandro Chia, Francesco Clemente, Enzo Cucchi, Gunther Förg, Gilbert & George, Katharina Grosse, Andreas Gursky, Damien Hirst, Alex Katz, Bharti Kher, Gerhard Richter, Thomas Struth, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Mark Tansey and Christopher Wool.
