【Introduction】:On June 2, 1946, Italy held a referendum to detemine its national system

On June 2, 1946, Italy held a referendum to detemine its national system. The majorities were in favor of abolishing the monarchy and establishing a republic. Therefore, June 2 was set as Festa Nazionale of the Italian Republic, the national day. On this day, receptions will be given in the Italian Presidential Palace, foreign embassies and consulates. Besides, a grand parade ceremony will be held in Rome in celebration of the festival.
