【Introduction】:Jakarta has a full calendar of festivals throughout the year.
1. Java Jazz Festival
Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival is an annual Jazz Festival held every March in Jakarta, since 2005. Jakarta International Java Jazz is not only one of the best in Indonesia but one of the most prestigious and largest arena in the world. The festival was originally pioneered by a fan as well as an actor in the Indonesian jazz industry, Peter F. Gontha.
2. Jakarta Fashion and Food Festival (JFFF)
Jakarta Fashion & Food Festival (JFFF) is an annual event of PT. Summarecon Agung Tbk with the Jakarta City Government through the Jakarta Tourism and Culture Office that shows the richness of Indonesian culture especially in the field of fashion & culinary which is packed in a series of interesting events. In 2017, JFFF is present through 2 main series of Fashion Festival and Food Festival events from 7 April to 7 May 2017. At Fashion Festival will showcase the richness of Indonesian culture through fashion. Presentation of the latest collection of ready-to-wear clothing from leading designers, independent designers, and young designers from top fashion education institutions through fashion show and Fashion Village trade show concept at JFFF. While the Food Festival is a form of JFFF creativity in raising the culinary charm of the archipelago at local and global level.
3. Festival Jakarta Great Sale
One event which is held to celebrate the Anniversary and has become a superior program of the Jakarta City Government is the Festival Jakarta Great Sale (FJGS). The big event that was held in Jakarta, was introduced to the society in the 1980s, exactly in 1982, where Jakarta City Government initiated a shopping event called "Shop Festival". The event was renamed the "Discount Party" in the 1990s and changed again to "Jakarta Great Sale", then its name changed to "Jakarta Great Sale Festival" until now.
4. We The Fest
"We The Fest" is an annual music event that has been held since 2014 by Ismaya Live. The festival, held every weekend of mid-or late August, has the tagline "A Summer Festival of Music, Arts, Fashion and Food". The festival is held in East Parking Senayan, but by 2017, the festival is moved to the Jakarta International Expo. Not only music, We The Fest also has many booths, such as art booths, carnivals, shopping areas and cinemas. In the WTF Cinema Clubs area, Ismaya Live in collaboration with the French Embassy and British Council, WTF provides a small cinema theater with silent cinema concept. In the Art Village area, spectators can enjoy a variety of works of art. Viewers can not only see how to create merchandise but also learn how to make it and take it home. While in WTF Market, not only has a local vision, WTF has an international mission. In collaboration with the French Embassy and the British Institute, the WTF invites local SMEs to sell their art work. Last is the CarniFun area which is a game zone with the concept of carnival. For its success in 2016, this music festival was attended by more than 26 thousand spectators. In 2017, the number of WTF spectators rose to penetrate the number 50 thousand spectators.

5. Djakarta Warehouse Project
Djakarta Warehouse Project or DWP is the biggest dance music festival event in Indonesia and also one of the biggest in Asia. DWP brings together many leading electronic musicians from domestic and abroad. DWP was first named Blowfish Warehouse Project and was held in 2008. After that, DWP again held in 2010 with a different name ie Djakarta Warehouse Project. DWP hosted by Ismaya Live. Since 2014 held in JIExpo Kemayoran previously held in Eco Park Ancol or Istora Senayan. DWP 2016 has successfully entertaining 90 thousand spectators from all over the world for two days of its operation.

6. Jakarta Fair
Jakarta Fair is a fair held annually in Jakarta International Expo (JIE) Kemayoran, Jakarta, Indonesia, in June and July. It features exhibitions, trade promotions, shopping, music performances, various shows, amusement rides and a food festival. The fair is meant to celebrate the anniversary of Jakarta. The Jakarta Fair sees exhibitors from across the country display a whole range of goods and products ranging from specialty food items to traditional handmade arts and crafts. In addition to the many exhibitors, there is also live entertainment including music, dance and cultural performances.
