From 3rd to 5th August the 22nd International Berlin Beer Festival is taking place at its traditional area along Karl-Marx-Allee between Strausberger Platz and Frankfurter Tor.

About 800,000 visitors from all over the world will meet right in the centre of Berlin at the „World´s Longest Beer Garden“ (GUINNESS WORLD RECORDSTM).

The 22nd International Berlin Beer Festival is taking place between Strausberger Platz and Frankfurter Tor again covering an area of of 2.2 km. Each year a different country, special region or motto is at the festival´s centre of attention. Examples are the Czech Republic in 2008, Belgium in 2009 and Vietnam in 2010. In 2011, on the occasion of the 15th International Berlin Beer Festival, a new Guinness World RecordTM was set up. In 2012 beers of the Baltic Region, in 2013 Poland, in 2014 craft-brewed beer specialities, in 2015 the motto Experience the Beer and Burgenstraße were in the focus of the festival and in 2016 we celebrated the 20th anniversity of the International Berlin Beerfestival and 500 Years of Purity Regulations. Last year´s motto was traditional breweries from North Rhine-Westfalia. Looking back on those successful years you can see the diversity of this popular event at first sight.

At the Longest Beer Garden of the World 344 breweries from 87 countries are presenting their 2,400 brands of uniquely represented beers. Visitors to the festival can enjoy culinary specialities and there are 19 stages where national and international artists are performing live-music.
